Christine has been playing Anglo concertina for several years and co-hosts one of Nanaimo's most beloved traditional Irish music sessions. Passionate about making Irish trad accessible to absolute beginners, she founded CelticTradHub to bring the slow session experience online. Her approach is simple: no pressure, no performance, just trad the way it was always meant to be — played together.

Aaron
Session Leader

Aaron is a multi-instrumentalist with a deep love for Celtic traditional music. He plays Irish whistle and bagpipes, and co-hosts the Nanaimo Irish trad session alongside Christine. Aaron has been playing Celtic music for over 30 years and is a wealth of knowledge! With a natural gift for teaching and a relaxed, encouraging style, Aaron brings warmth and enthusiasm to every session he leads.
